DEKO CE labelling of fully glazed partitions
Despite the current economic turbulence, our intensive product development continues and we are now the first company in Denmark to have achieved CE labelling of our fully glazed partitions.
The ETA approval certificate has been issued by ETA Denmark assessing testing of fire resistance, sound reduction, stability and security at the Danish Building Research Institute (SBI), the Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology (DBI) and leading technology innovation company DELTA Akustik.
Our quality assurance system also documents conformity between tested and supplied materials, and entitles DEKO to use the CE label for its constructions.
DEKO prioritises having its products approved and certified in accordance with both national and international legislative requirements. As a result of this prioritisation, today we are the only company to hold 2 out of a total of 34 ETA approvals issued for partition systems in Europe.
ETA approval is valid throughout the EU, and in countries such as Norway, Switzerland and several countries in the Middle East it is viewed as indicating quality approval, as it shows that our products are in compliance with the European standards established by the European Commission.
Managing director Peter H. Krogh comments: ”Given that our different partition systems can be integrated and combined as required, this approval and certification of our quality assurance programme gives DEKO many advantages in terms of designing fully glazed partitions in Denmark and internationally.”

Head of development Finn B. Jahn, the primus motor behind the process, adds that while ETA approval requires a certain standardisation of the product, the focus has always been on flexibility and design and therefore the fully glazed partitions continue to be a preferred solution for innovative interior design.
