DEKO HG Fire glazed floor

We are the first company in Denmark to offer our customers in Denmark and abroad glazed floor with approved REI 30 and REI 60 fire-hazard classifications.

We have previously supplied horizontal glazed floors to a series of projects.

The glazed floor structures in these projects were individually assessed and approved by the Danish Institute of Fire and Security Technology (DBI).

DEKO HG Fire glazed floor has now been tested and classified by the DBI. During the test, DEKO HG Fire was loaded with 500 kg/m2 and attained fire-resistant properties for 30 and 60 minutes.

The addition of DEKO HG Fire to our product range means we can now provide customers with load-bearing structural elements – a product which complements the rest of our product range.

DEKO HG Fire gives you the option of allowing natural light to reach underlying storeys.

The above image shows how a glazed floor allows the light from the atrium’s skylight to shine through to the fitness centre in the lower floor of the building. We are currently the first and only company to have carried out this type of test at the DBI.
